Advanced Topics - Interior Search Sampler for Nose Work/Scent Work. These will be three-week classes for intensive practice of interior searches. Expect all levels from NW1/Novice to Elite/Master. Target odors of birch/anise/clove will be used singly or in any combination (Cypress is a possibility, if requested). Skills incorporated may include any of the following: Single accessible hides, multiple hides, multiple rooms, inaccessible hides, elevated hides, blank searches, and possibly a “Can’t Go Back” search scenario. Runs may be blind, coached, or known depending on handler preference. Search areas or area boundaries may be modified for teams depending on team goals and current skill level. Two to four searches each class depending on that week’s setups. Crating will be from owners’ cars. All three weeks of both sessions will use the same interior spaces. Dog’s must be on birch, anise, and clove to register.
